At Muslim Care, we help needy people in the developing world to live dignified fulfilled and self-sufficient lives. And we do it without spending a penny of any donation on expenses.

We believe that incredible things can come from even the most modest resources – and that small committed efforts can turn into a huge impact. In 1991, Muslim Care began when a few like-minded business people with a vision to educate as many children as possible and empower people in the developing countries. Muslim Care started with a small charity shop in Brick Lane selling clothes donated by generous local business and managed by passionate volunteers. More than 25 years later, we’ve been able to fund schools, established businesses, and helped people to avail educational and economic opportunities. Through our initiatives, we help people get the education, training, and expertise they need to overcome poverty – not short-term financial aid, but the skills that underpin sustainable change, all paid for through your generous donations, with all admin costs covered by the rental income from Muslim Care’s Brick Lane property.
